Ding Dong the Pitch is Dead - Contemporary Selling Techniques Training.

No role play. No shaming or intimidation. No acronyms. Creative training with guaranteed take away skills is our promise.

Who is the course aimed at?

Business owners, Sales Directors, Sales Managers, Account Managers, Business Development Managers, Marketing Managers and anyone who may find themselves in a situation where they need to sell a product or service can benefit from this training.

How is the Sales training delivered?

Usually the sessions are delivered in person but can be delivered over an online meeting platform such as Zoom and will be slightly adapted. The style is professional but informal and largely story-based and the mix is approximately 75% presentation and 25% delegate involvement. The session can also be delivered as 100% presentation if preferred.

What sort of things are covered in the Sales training?

Firstly, one thing that isn’t covered in this training is the importance of Social Selling through platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. There are a host of providers who cover this sort of training so this course assumes that you either have that covered or will address it with future training. This course is complimentary to Social Selling as more often than not they are delivered from a Marketing only perspective and do not build in other methods of contemporary Sales techniques. A short section on LinkedIn is included. You can expect the following to be covered but if you want me to cover something in more detail or omit a section just let me know:-

  • The Sales pitch

  • The informed buyer

  • A word on LinkedIn and social selling

  • Speed is of the essence

  • Persistence

  • Timing

  • “Forget” the competition

  • "Professional stalking”

  • Mind your language

  • The sunk cost fallacy

  • What makes you different?

  • Q&A and actions

How long is this Sales training session?

It can be tailored to suit your requirements and will slightly depend on the number of delegates but typically an in person session will take around an hour - but it also depends on how many questions and involvement there is from the group.

What is required in the meeting room (where applicable)?

Ideally there would be a web connection and somewhere for a laptop to connect to a screen. If you don’t have this then we can discuss in advance and figure it out.

Is there a maximum number of delegates per session?

I’d suggest no more than 8 (unless you opt for a 100% presentation style for a keynote or Sales meeting session where there is no limit) as this means that everyone can get involved and get the most out of the session. But equally, the session can be delivered one on one.

Is it certified?

Attendees will be issued with a certificate of attendance by email after the event which is valid for 3 years. There is no “pass or fail” but the style of Silent Sales trainings to check delegates understanding throughout the training. Each delegate will also get a follow up call from Silent Sales on their commitment to trying out their techniques

What is the price?

I don’t publish this online but I have a rate card I can send you on request.
