How can you help grow my business when you don’t know anything about it?

We need to have an initial chat and then we’d formulate a brief together. We’d then build in some research and using our previous experience and own sales techniques off we go. We learn quickly.

 

You sound expensive?

Our overheads are low. It is us, a phone, a computer, a WIFI signal and occasionally a hungry pet each. A decent BDM in the UK will cost >£50k pa plus commission, car, phone, laptop, training etc. We’re a fraction of the cost and commitment and 100% measurable.

 

I’m only a “one man band” - does that matter?

Perfect. You’ll know better than most that there are a lot of plates to spin when running a company. Having time to write sales copy, prospect, conduct competitor analysis or pay for expensive, over-bloated sales training courses can be very difficult. We can tailor a service just for you, leaving you to do what you’re best at.

How do we measure things?

We can agree the metrics up front. Usually with business development we record everything your CRM or on a separate live document. No smoke and mirrors - we’re accountable for all that we do.

 

Doesn’t everyone write sales copy?

They can but it is time consuming and is it creative? Is it optimised for Google? Is it technical where required? Does it consider the audience? Is it informative and interesting? Does it drive traffic? Does it engage the reader? If it ticks all these boxes then fantastic. If not then drop us a line.

 

Will you consider working on a commission only basis.

No.

The behaviours of some commission only sales people are often the reason why sales people have to try harder than most to build trust. We use our own sales methods and work on a retainer basis but will consider a partial commission in some circumstances.

Are you compliant with data protection laws and guidelines such as PECR and GDPR?

Yes. This is something we take very seriously. Details can be found in our Data Protection Policy and Privacy Notice.

 

Can your training be delivered online?

Yes, it would be tailored for the platform and the audience. But this can be a great way to cover a session over multiple sites/countries where required or where it is difficult to get people together in the same place. Where possible we encourage face to face sessions but online is a great alternative.

 

What makes your sales training different?

People remember it. They will take tools with them that if committed, they’ll use forever. It is not in the slightest bit intimidating and we don’t do role playing. We also ensure people’s understanding and it is aimed at not just sales people but business owners and any function or industry. Oh and “SNRCAYIF” (Strictly no ridiculous acronyms you’ll instantly forget!)

Do you offer outreach in other languages?

Absolutely. Our experienced B2B sales team speak Spanish, French, Arabic, Catalan and of course, English. So we can help you open up new global sales opportunities by phone and email.

 

Who conducts your Silent sales training?

This is always led by Simon Lunt, Owner of Silent Sales.

 

Can you manage our email outreach?

Yes - we can manage the whole process from data capture, content writing through to delivery. We use cutting edge sequencing tools to ensure very high delivery and open rates and maximum engagement.

 

Who conducts your outsourced business development?

You will usually deal with Simon initially and then introduced to one of the Silent Sales team. Rest assured that the best possible fit for the campaign will be dedicated to making your campaign as successful as possible, matching personality and experience.

 

Does your sales mentoring only cover sales?

No - if you want it to Simon will cover general commercial mentoring too drawing on his years of global experience as a Commercial Director. But if you want to stick to sales, we’ll stick to sales.

 

Are you open to a trial period to test the water?

Absolutely. I want you to be happy and a paid trial is a great way to make 100% sure we’re a good fit.

How many leads will you generate?

How long is a piece of string? There are too many variables out of our control to give an answer to this such as data quality, the value proposition, the contact rate and external market forces. We guarantee high quality activity but can’t guarantee outcomes - anyone that does is lying/deluded.

 

Which industries are you experienced in?

How many calls will you make in a day?

This depends on the type of calls required, how they are recorded and diaried and the overall workflow. But as an example we average approx 70-85 B2B calls over a 7 hour period (1 day).

 

Do you offer business development on a Business to Consumer basis?

>95% of our work is on a B2B basis so as a general rule we don’t but will consider the opportunity on a case-by-case basis so feel free to get in touch as we can have a chat.

 

Which CRM systems are you familiar with?

We would consider ourselves black belts in Hubspot and Pipedrive but have also used Capsule, Salesforce, Sugar, Sage, Pipeline and a number of in house systems so we’re comfortable with any.

 

Are non UK calls covered in your pricing?

Usually yes. There are a few exceptions where we have to purchase overseas bundles to cover specific regions but this will all be made clear at the quotation stage. The majority of Europe, Asia and the Americas are covered in our standard pricing.
