We can either pick up the calling element of your process or a specific campaign, cold call from your brief or plug in at agreed trigger points in your own or a Silent Sales email outreach campaign. We love opening doors for clients, helping them to solve problems and we’re “professionally inquisitive” so we can help build a picture ahead of either passing the baton back to you by setting appointments, or taking a lead through the process and closing a deal.

How can the Silent Sales team make sales calls about a product or service they don’t know about?

We are a very experienced team, but during your initial meeting/s with us, before we’ve reached agreement on the way forward, we will ask a lot of questions. And for 90% of our clients we strongly encourage an initial online training session from you. This will be attended by your main point of contact and usually by Simon, Owner of Silent Sales.

We then use this training along with the agreed brief and our experience and within days (sometimes hours) we’re using the same lingo you’ve been honing for years. In most cases, we don’t need to be experts in your field - that is up to you. We will never guess answers to tricky questions and our approach means that it is rare that a situation arises which is difficult for us to handle. If a prospect or client is asking questions then we see this as a positive buying signal anyway.

Do we use “pushy” sales tactics?

No - never.

The Silent Sales team use Silent Sales methods when speaking with clients and prospects. The team do not work on a commission basis either, so there is no conflict of interest. We want to help you to fill your pipeline and close deals but the deal needs to be right for your client too. We are energetic, persistent and committed but we are not pushy and we know when to “walk away”. If it is a “boiler room” approach you’re after then we’re not the right fit for you.

Will the prospect or client know the call is from Silent Sales?

Absolutely not. As far as the prospect or client is concerned we are calling as if we work for you. A few clients like us to say that we’re calling “on behalf of” them and in the hundreds of thousands of calls we’ve made this has never once been challenged. When we leave voicemails (and we always do) the client is given a landline number and asked to pick the extension number left by our team member.

Who would be making the calls?

All of the Silent Sales team are expert telephone sales people. If you work for Silent Sales, you’re a salesperson. We are predominantly a team of hunters - a rare sales breed.

Our average experience in B2B telephone selling is just over 15 years and between us we have almost every industry and geography covered. We’ll match your requirement with the best fit we have in our team, both in terms of experience and character. We want to represent your brand how you want to be perceived. You’ll get to know your main point of contact really well and our clients really do consider us as an extension of their team.

What kind of phone system do we use?

We use a VOIP system which means that not only can we make and receive sales calls wherever and however we’re working, but all of our call records are logged internally. We’re of course, very used to logging call activity on client CRM systems too - we’re all about transparency. And if you have a chosen phone system you’d like us to use then we’re happy to do so.

When using our system, the call will be routed so it displays as coming from a UK landline number - this adds credibility and increases the chances of connecting. But if you want the number to be from your country then we can arrange this too.

Are all call charges covered in our pricing?

Our call plan covers 100 countries including many mobile providers and these calls are all covered in the pricing. You can see a list of them here in our Terms & Conditions. But if you have a requirement that means we’d need to call outside of the listed countries then we’d be happy to speak with you about how to make this work.

Are our calls recorded?

By default, we do not record calls. Sometimes, new clients like us to record some sample calls during the early part of our collaboration so that they can provide some constructive feedback which we’re more than happy to receive. We do have the ability to record calls which our system can store for 30 days - this is an add on service. Where possible we encourage clients to not record calls as this makes the callers even more relaxed to do what they’re best at - selling. But we have nothing to hide so the choice is yours.

Do we make B2C calls?

We try not to take on much B2C work. We do occasional B2C projects but they are usually either very specialist or for some of our legacy clients where we’re very familiar with the set up. This is a very difficult area in terms of GDPR compliance and our team don’t enjoy B2C work in the main - we stay in our lane which is expert B2B calling.

Our experience shows that there are few better value methods of warming up a B2B prospect list than with professionally written and managed email sequences. The same can be said about keeping your existing clients warm and for trying to reignite dormant accounts. Used as part of your multi-channel sales campaign, or in some cases even as a stand-alone strategy, outsourcing your email outreach campaigns to Silent Sales will pay dividends.

What makes our email sequencing different?

Here are sixteen things which add up to an unrivalled provider of email sequenced campaigns:-

  1. We can translate your campaign content into Spanish, French, Arabic and Catalan in house - meaning that you can look way beyond the English speaking world and open up conversations in over 70 countries who you may never have been able to contact before

  2. Our system uses a “Bounce Guard” protocol. This essentially means that it will catch a large percentage of incorrect email addresses before they are sent. The main benefit to you is less admin dealing with “not delivered” responses and it will also help to protect the reputation of your email address and domain from being blacklisted as the source of thousands of emails into the abyss.

  3. We will warm up your email in advance of the campaign. This means that again, your email address will be established as a trusted source rather than a Yahoo or Gmail account set up in haste to SPAM the world.

  4. We’re transparent. As with all Silent Sales services we have nothing to hide. If you want it, you can have live access to a performance dashboard for each live email campaign. And if you require a monthly report we can supply that too.

  5. Our sales experts can write your copy. Writing consistent, new copy for campaigns year on year is a skill - and one which we have in abundance. We can work with your copy and provide constructive feedback - or we are happy to write each email for each sequence.

  6. Our system behaves like a human. Unlike some other systems (the one that mentions a monkey for example) our system is not designed to send newsletters in a batch. Our emails look like an email sent from a human being - not from a tired template. And they are sent in random patterns one at a time over an agreed period. For example, our system won’t send the exact same email to two different people in the same second - as this wouldn’t be achieved by a human in real time. The result…….well it is number seven actually……….

  7. Very high deliverability and open rates. Once your email is warmed up and we’ve finished with your copy - assuming your value proposition is worth hearing then you’ll be delighted with deliverability and open rates which exceed accepted industry standards.

  8. Our sequences have logic and actions built in. You’ll have probably spotted that you’re in a sequence when you’ve already expressed that you’re not interested but then you get the follow up emails. Not with our system - we capture autoreplies and one of our team takes the appropriate action. E.g. if the reply states someone is on maternity leave for the next two months then we won’t send the remainder of the sequence.

    As for the actions - we can set trigger points which tell us (or you) that a prospect/client has taken significant interest in a message and it might be worth making a call. E.g. If a prospect opens an email four or more times then this could be a buying signal we don’t want you to miss.

  9. We help with GDPR compliance. Not the most exciting of topics we agree, but vital nonetheless. We ensure that each of your emails will have the mandatory Unsubscribe button and our system will capture this information automatically so that prospect/client won’t get emails again from our system.

  10. We can link the system to your CRM. If you opt for a package which has API included then you’ll also be able to see when a contact has been sent a sequence and if they’ve opened it. For some integrations such as Pipedrive this a two way synchronisation so when we update a contact (e.g. they’ve changed their name) then it will be updated in your CRM too.

  11. We can warm up your domain. This is similar to warming up your email address to increase deliverability. This is particularly important if you’re a new company as your domain will be treated as neutral until it can be trusted. Our system will deal with this for you.

  12. We offer A/B testing as an optional extra. This means that if you’d like to see how one type of email copy performs against another then we can do this for you with live results. Perhaps you suspect that an audience will react well to a very humorous approach, but your colleague thinks that they’re more likely to engage with a serious message. We can help you find out with indisputable data.

  13. We can pause and restart your campaigns at any time. A good example of this is if you want to avoid sending your email sequence over a public holiday. We optimise the send times and days of your sequences as standard but sometimes we understand you need or want to pause. We can handle this and respond very quickly.

  14. We help you avoid your email account being suspended. Did you know that your email provider has a daily send limit? If you go over this limit you risk your account being suspended. We set parameters in our system so that this is one less thing for you to worry about.

  15. We can deal with very large databases and it won’t cost you the earth. Unlike other providers we don’t believe that just because you have a large database of contacts this should mean that you have to pay a small fortune to keep in touch with them. We keep it really simple with an “Unlimited” tier which is ideal for any company with over 6000 contacts in their system. So if you have 10,000 or 23,000 it will cost you the same per month.

  16. We can provide you with contact data. Perhaps you’re a new company. Or maybe your database is so out of date you’re in need of new information.
